High-Performance Fitting and Quality Environmental

The Infectiology Center in its first installment, is managed by François MARTIN assisted by technician and a lab assistant.

It offers:

• 1,920 sq. m. / 22,000 sq. ft of laboratories able to accomodate around 84 persons
• 7 modules will accomodate teams / projects in the IDC, with for each module :

• 1 Biosafety Level 3 platform comprising 3 Biosafety Level 3 zones and 2 Biosafety Level 2 Laboratories that research teams can reserve when needed
• a -80° C / - 112° F freezer room
• an IT facility
• a washroom
• a cold room
• a meeting room
• a recreation room
• a gas and liquid nitrogen facility
• a waste facility and more

Each project / team is independent and can benefit from advice from Lyonbiopôle's governance and Technical Group. These academic and industrial players are responsible for assessing requests for project accreditation. Lyonbiopôle's governance ensures that the research topics explored at the Infectiology Center are consistent with the aims of the cluster.
