The Infectious Disease Center, in its first stage, is manage by François MARTIN, assisted by a technician and a laboratory.

 

It offers :

> 1,920 sq.m / 21,000 sq.ft. of laboratories for an average of 84 persons

> 7 modules for teams and/or project with, for each one of them:

- 2 biosafety level 2 laboratory

- 1  dust free laboratory

- 1 standrad laboratory

 

Shared zones including:

> 1 biosafety level 3 platform comprising 3 biosafety level 3 and 2 biosafety level 2 laboratories which research teams can reserve, on demand, when needed

> 1 freezer room -80°c…

> 1 IT facility

> 1 washroom

> 1 cold room

> 1 meeting room

> 1 storage room

> 1 gas and liquid nitrogen facility,

> 1 waste facility …

 

Lyonbiopole offer its expertise to hosted teams :

Each team / project hosted in the Infectious Disease Center is independent and can benefit from advice of Lyonbiopole’s governance and Technical Group, comprising high level researchers entitled to evaluate project accreditation requests. Lyonbiopole’s governance ensures that the research topics explored at the Infectious Disease Center are consistent with the aims of the cluster.
