Presentation of the cluster

Jean Chabbal has been with CEA Leti for over five years as head of the technologies for healthcare division. He has extensive experience in developing and manufacturing detectors and equipments for imaging and medical applications. His experience includes five years as managing director of TRIXELL, seven years as director of the aSi:H flat panel X-Ray detector program of Thalés and five years as R&D manager of the CCD division of Thalès.

He received an engineering degree in Physics and Electronics from Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble in 1973, a DEA in Solid State Physics from Grenoble University and a master in Business Administration from Institut de Gestion in 1992.

 

In Lyonbiopôle, his field of expertise covers nanotechnologies, in vitro diagnosis system and medical imaging.
