Executive Director INSERM

 

 

André Syrota, was born in 1946, is a specialist in nuclear medicine. He is since October 12th, 2007 the general manager of the national Institute of the health and the medical research ( INSERM). 
   


Former  intern Hospitals of Paris, he specializes in nuclear medicine and becomes University and Hospital practitioner at the University Paris - South in 1979.

He is named a leader of the hospital department Frédéric-Joliot of the CEA(ATOMIC ENERGY AUTHORITY) of Orsay in 1984, then director of the department Sciences of living on the CEA (ATOMIC ENERGY AUTHORITY) from 1993 till 2007. 
   
On October 12th, 2007, he is named by the government a general manager of the INSERM.
