- Indicative budget : € 108 million

- Specific feature for this call (pilot action) : this call is dedicated to a specific SME innovation initiative designed to encourage stronger SME efforts towards research and innovation. SMEs need to have a leading or coordinating role in the consortium and 50% of EU funding requested going to SMEs or SMEs joint venture. Requested EU contribution per project should not exceed a maximum of € 6 000 000. Project duration 3 years, participation 3 to 5 entities.

> NMP Nanosciences call , nanotechnologies, materials and new technologies of production : some features of the next call could affect health. The call should be published in late June / early July 2010. Briefings on the next NMP calls in June 24, 2010 in Lyon.
The research activities and technological development are funded :
- up to 50% for all
- up to 75% for SMBs, non-profit organizations, universities and research institutions.
Demonstration activities are funded up to 50% for all. Other activities (including management) are funded up to 100% for all.

Calls from PEOPLE program
> Reintegration Grants - no calls
> Intra European Fellowships Calls, grants for coming from the international (International Incoming Fellowship) grants to go to the international (International Outgoing Fellowship), opened in March 17, 2011 with the closing date of 11 August 2011.
These fellowships are intended for experienced researchers. They aim to support training and development of researchers' career.
> International Research Staff Exchange Scheme . This call is intended to support the partnership between at least two independent research organizations established in two State members or associated countries. No calls.
The contribution of the EC for the Marie Curie actions (another name for call for thePEOPLE program) takes the form of a grant of up to 100% of the indirect actions budget .
The reference rate to calculate the allowances for each researcher eligible are:
- Young researchers: € 36,700 / year
- Experienced researchers (less than 10 years of experience): € 56,400 / year
- Experienced researchers (more than 10 years of experience): € 84,500 / year
This is combined with mobility allowances that will be paid to certain researchers categories and take into account the researcher's family situation. The fixed travel allowances are also provided according to the distances ahead.
