The fair organiser, Biotechnology Industry Organization, represents around 1,200 biotechnology companies and related organisations that are involved in the reasearch and development of healthcare, agricultural, industrial and environmental biotechnology products.

 

To meet the needs of the biotechnology industry, the BIO Annual International Convention features a great combination of exhibition and congress.

During the Congress, Lyonbiopole welcomes you on a booth (1043), inside the French Pavillon, that gathers regional life sciences actors and co-exhibitor Rhone-Alpes companies. The common booth is co-funded by the Rhone-Alpes region, Greater Lyon, Greater Grenoble and Aderly in collaboration with Lyonbiopole, Lyon Chamber of Commerce and UbiFrance.

 

Moreover, in the framework of the Intern'l Case Studies of BIO, Lyonbiopole will organize a conference on: "French Technological Research Institute: A Unique Model for Scalingup and Speeding up Innovation in the Infectious Diseases and Microbiota Fields ", on June 20th, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 4:45pm.

6th edition of the Fast Track R&D Partnering with France (FTRD)

On Monday 18 June 2012, with the Congress opening, Lyonbiopole will organise the 6th edition of the Fast Track R&D Partnering with France (FTRD) in collaboration with UbiFrance and the French Biotech Clusters, with the support of DGCIS (French Government). This exchanging moment allows each year to build contact with international companies and presents offers of international partnerships.
